Butterscotch Disks
Last night Mr. Mike and I had one of those rare opprotunities to go out on a date. He asked me and had it all planned, I just had to get the sitter. After our date we had to go to Wally World to get a shirt for him to wear to his first football game of the season. We looked at some Polo shirts, but they had pockets and looked exactly like the ones my Grandpa wears. We finally found one. Then we mosied on over to the candy section. I picked some out, and Mike debated about the Butterscotch disks...really does anyone eat those besides people who are over 80? I know he love old people and has his bi-monthly date with Virginia Houston (yes, her name is really two places) but to buy a bag of Butterscotch, that is too much. Especially after looking at Grandpa shirts. He had told me that he only had orange juice to drink that day before he came home, I think that is an old person thing too. We got to the cash register and as the nice little boy, yes, he was little, he told the couple in front of us that he only works a couple hours a week because he is still in High school. Mike was paying so I was standing a little back off, and as the little boy scanned the candy and said to ME...Do you want the candy left out? Why would he not ask Mike? Don't old men like candy besides Butterscotch Disks? So I nicely told him....No, put it in the bag, I can sniff it out int he car.
