I don't always know what is best for my children, but I do always try to be starightforward and honest with them. So when our friends lost their baby, the kids knew and went to the viewing. Of course death is one of those events where they ask a lot of questions and talk about it alot. After the funeral, the kids found a wooden box of mine and kept taking it and calling it a casket, so after a couple of days, I hid the box. Well, today Katie's babies' head fell off.
